There were 60 anxious
bowlers at City Limits in Mason for Mini #5. The day started with
Tony Guzman Jr. throwing a 300 for high game of the day. Mostly,
the rest of the day was dominated by Joe Manor.
Joe was high qualifier with a
1318 pinfall and averaging 263 for the five-game block. He cruised
through the finals, beating Rosendo Mireles 226 to 216, Nick
Reeser's 249 in the Semi's, topping Randy Hawks 247 - 182 and in
the finals, out striking Billy Plane 247 to 191.
With the points won, Joe
vaulted into the lead for Bowler of the Year, having 85 points, 2nd
place is held by Mike Bradfield with 74, and Terry Haines has 50.
The last Mini is Feb 21st
at Holiday Lanes. This is the 1st time in 12 years
Holiday Lanes has hosted a Match Game tournament.
